Volker had this weekend 'times take a little adventure: (4.6.) On Friday we took a train to Hamburg, then in the S-Bahn to the airport and at 20.55 clock in the Lufthansa flight to Munich! Cause of this short trip, these two gentlemen:
Eric Clapton and Steve Winwood, both during his lifetime to have rock legends! And both came OPEN AIR in Munich at the Royal Palace at least 25,000 spectators, and I there! It was awesome. I have rarely seen at a outdoor event such a good sound as on this day that had already CD-quality! Of course, all also because of the good weather-in Super-summer mood, even the whole band sparkled with playfulness and tore us viewers keep returning to thunderous applause.
But the concert was held on Saturday, so even genügnd time to look around a bit in Munich!

In this picture from the Town Hall you can - I believe - to realize that the weather conditions were simply bombastic! Early in the morning there were over 20 degrees, and this should be increased until the afternoon and evening!
The Isar did see anything but inviting: because it had been raining non-stop until Friday, the river was a milky-brown broth, tearing everything with it, whether whole trees , scrub or other matters. At Baden was not thinking, of course, now and then an intrepid kayakers tried in the raging floods.

soon back in Hamburg on Sunday, again the obligatory adventure came with the NOB: all moves that should go towards the north (including S-Bahn), could not fire because of an embankment to the railway station Hamburg-Altona, starting now so that a random walk, due to bad information, with the ride home from the train station in the inter-city ended
But still: a crazy weekend! And on Tuesday's is now equal on with our camping trip to Sylt. Unfortunately, the weather forecasts are not as positive, but we let the time come to us!
